Tampa Bay CDC, a HUD-approved counseling agency, invites you to attend our FREE DREAM OF HOMEOWNERSHIP WORKSHOPS. These are held monthly, and the certificates are accepted by assistance programs in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough County!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE WORKSHOP
The Dream of Homeownership Workshop is in English. All participants will receive an 88-page home buying manual, and you will have the opportunity to obtain several informational publications from HUD, Fannie Mae, the FTC, etc.
At the end of the Workshop, ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION. This certificate is accepted by Assistance Programs and Lenders in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties.
PLEASE NOTE: THE CERTIFICATE RECEIVED AT THE WORKSHOP IS NOT AN APPROVAL FOR DOWNPAYMENT ASSISTANCE OR FINANCING.
If you have a tendency to be cold, you are encouraged to bring a sweater or light jacket. We are unable to control the temperature inside the facility as it is regulated from another location.
Childcare is not available and due to the length of the Workshop, CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE WORKSHOP.

Please note that COFFEE, BREAKFAST, OR LUNCH ARE NOT SERVED at the Workshop. Please arrange to bring your own lunch. The lunch break will give you ample time to visit one of many drive-thru restaurants located within a 5 minute car ride of the facility. There are also vending machines on the premises to purchase light snacks or drinks.
