Tampa Bay Community Development Corporation

Incorporated in 1982, Tampa Bay Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a private, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization and a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency.

Tampa Bay CDC administers its Homeownership Services in the following ways:

DOWNPAYMENT ASSISTANCE Clients who need downpayment/closing cost assistance may be eligible to receive interest free assistance for the City of Clearwater, the City of Largo, and Unincorporated Pinellas County (i.e., Gulfport, Pinellas Park, Tarpon Springs, Safety Harbor, etc.)

HOMEOWNERSHIP WORKSHOPS Tampa Bay CDC meets the educational requirements established by HUD and certificates are accepted by assistance programs in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties.

HOUSING COUNSELING SERVICES Tampa Bay CDC provides guidance, education and support to individuals or families working on a plan to own a home.

FORECLOSURE PREVENTION Tampa Bay CDC administers a Foreclosure Prevention Program for homeowners who are at risk of foreclosure. Our services include problem identification, budgeting, counseling and direct intervention with the lender. Tampa Bay CDC is part of the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Program.
